
Community Coach Driver (Non-CDL)
Drive with Purpose – Help Seniors & Residents Get Where They Need to Go!
Senior Resource Association’s Community Coach provides door-to-door transportation for eligible riders who have no other means of travel. We are looking for dependable and compassionate drivers to operate our non-CDL vehicles and provide safe, courteous transportation throughout Indian River County.

What You’ll Do:
- Safely operate a non-CDL vehicle and provide door-to-door service.
- Assist passengers, including those using wheelchairs, walkers, and service animals.
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off for medical appointments, shopping, and other essential trips.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Communicate with Operations Supervisors as needed.
What You Need to Qualify:
- Valid Florida Driver’s License with at least 5 years of driving history.
- Valid DOT Medical Certification.
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and level 2 background check.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience driving passenger vehicles.
- Familiarity with Indian River County roadways.
- Knowledge of transit regulations (FTA, ADA, DOT).
